Hi, I'm Michelle. As an accomplished design strategist, I'm often faced with the constant challenge to drive design as the vehicle for building order out of chaos. I am skilled with analyzing and transforming complex data into digestible, friendlier formats, a skill not everyone can execute because simplicity is one of the hardest states to achieve as it's often misunderstood. Because less is more.

My goal is to showcase your information in the most meaningful way possible. It's going to make sense and it's going to look awesome. I create a fine balance of ingenuity with purpose which results in thoughtful, clean, and captivating layouts that tell a story.

With my real-world experience working through some of the most intense timelines from high-profile clients, I’m well positioned to push through stressful situations with ease and get your job completed on time and in the best quality. No hand-holding necessary.

Being a well rounded designer, I am adept with designing for various formats and specialize in a diverse range of collateral, from branding, logo design, packaging, event materials, to product photography. But I take it a step further—I work closely with you to ensure your design objectives align with your marketing goals.  

• As a project manager, I manage from end to end—concepting, development, production—following an established schedule with you to ensure on-time delivery. My work ethic involves full transparency and you'll find my timely communication keeps you well up to date.
• As a designer, I provide direction, iterate quickly, and aim to give purpose. Gestalt at its best.
• My left brain doesn't sleep on the job. With an engineer's mindset, I possess inexhaustive logic and troubleshooting skills. Because sleep can wait until I find the answer.
• It also helps that I am a pretty savvy writer and notorious spelling police, you know, to balance it all out.

I shift among these roles daily, offering flexible support that each unique design project demands. 

So what's my backstory.

I've taken my design degree and ran marathons with it. Thriving in a corporate environment for over a decade, I have diligence, accountability, and real-world experience to support both creative and project management standpoints. I've executed successful design from the smallest of formats (logos, brand identity elements, business cards) to high volume, high intensity deliverables (proposals, service collateral). Short deadlines? No problem; I specialize in excellent time management skills yet also ensure integrity and quality are always maintained. Because small details speak volumes.

I'm also an enthusiast photographer, finding beauty in the everyday. I scour and post on Instagram and am as resourceful as I am creative. I shoot often and strive to master technique and composition, especially when it comes to capturing the beauty of food. Food inspires me! Let my photos do the talking, check out my feed!

I cull the latest trends, blogs, podcasts, RSS feeds, and oftentimes my curiosity leads me to become an early adopter of cutting edge tech. Geek that I am, I have dreams of building an entirely connected home. I enjoy exploring devices from every platform (gaming, mobile, kickstarter, computing, etc.), based on an inherent interest to understand how things work and the curiosity to experiment. With that, I have sharp decision-making skills geared toward finding solutions.
